Weight Lifted

When you read the word “balance,” what picture pops into your head? How about a scale? Some of you will think about your weight (yikes!), some of you may think “Justice vs. Injustice” in your lives, and some of you see yourselves falling over the stack of folders that you put on the floor and didn’t have time to file away since last year.

Juggling your time and getting everything done in a reasonable time frame seems to become more challenging every day. Those unfinished things sit in the back of your mind and get bigger and bigger until the guilt they produce seems to be a daily distraction.

Take the time this month to get those non-important things done that have been weighing on your mind. Start your “To do” list today and mark off an hour twice a week just for those things you have been putting off. I plan on starting on my office’s “To be filed one day” basket and moving up from there. I promise you will feel a weight lift off your mind, and you’ll feel less guilt when you are outside doing your favorite summer activities. Enjoy what is left of the good weather!
